<p>The present invention relates to a method for controlling a battery and engine start in a vehicle. The method for controlling a battery and engine start in a vehicle includes: a driver boarding determining step of determining whether a driver gets on the vehicle in an on-state of the vehicle; and an engine-off step of turning off an engine of the vehicle after a predetermined time when determined that the driver does not get on the vehicle. The method for controlling a battery and engine start in a vehicle prevents unnecessary consumption of a fuel by forcibly controlling engine start in the vehicle and an operation of a centralized door actuator and a main relay supplying power from a battery to vehicle electric units depending on whether the driver gets on the vehicle or not in an on-state of the vehicle, thereby reducing environment pollution, preventing burglary and loss, and preventing discharge of a battery.</p> |
