<p>The invention relates to a mould for the production of a plastic foam part, comprising: at least a first cavity (50, 50') supported in a first chamber (1) of a moulding machine; at least a second cavity (90, 90') supported in a second chamber (10) of the moulding machine; a space (110) corresponding to the part to be moulded, defined between the first cavity (50, 50') and the second cavity (90, 90') in the closed position of the moulding machine; and at least a first hole (59, 59') in either the first or second cavity (50, 50, 90, 90') for introducing a plastic foam into the space (110). The mould is characterised in that: the first and second cavities (50, 50, 90, 90') are hollow, defining therein a core (55, 55', 95, 95') connected to the space (110) through a plurality of perforations (53, 53', 93, 93') allowing the passage of fluids through the first and second cavities (50, 50', 90, 90') to and from said space (110); and the first and second cavities (50, 50', 90, 90') each include at least a second inlet/outlet hole (56, 56', 96, 96') allowing fluids to flow between the core (55, 55', 95, 95') and the moulding machine.</p> |
