A flexible display and a manufacturing method thereof according to the embodiment of the present invention remarkably reduce foreign materials, processing time and stress due to the reduction of a thickness, prevent the foreign materials from penetrating through an organic light emitting device, and reduce the thickness of an encapsulant by using a material with a high sealing function and a sealing material which is robust against bending as the encapsulant. The method for manufacturing the flexible display according to the embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: forming the organic light emitting device on a flexible film; and sealing the organic light emitting device with a first protection layer and a second protection layer. The step of sealing the organic light emitting device with the first protection layer and the second protection layer includes the steps of: forming the first protection layer by opening a first bending region of the flexible film; and forming the second protection layer on the first bending region and the first protection layer.
