<p>Provided is a method for forwarding a message which adaptively determines a message forwarding scheme on each node in delay tolerant networks, and comprises the steps of: measuring the number (Ni) of periphery nodes connected into the forwarding radius of the node; comparing the number (Ni) of the periphery nodes of the node with a predetermined reference value (N) in case that the node is contacted with the other node; determining a message forwarding scheme for forwarding a message to the other node according to a comparison result of the number (Ni) of the periphery nodes and the reference value (N); and forwarding the message to the other node according to the determined message forwarding scheme. Accordingly, the entire message transfer rate can be increased by dynamically changing the message forwarding scheme according to the periphery node density and appropriately controlling diffusion of the message.</p> |
