The present invention relates to a hay making apparatus, which easily controls heights and angles and accordingly improves efficiency of making hay significantly, including a bevel gear integrated into the upper part of a rotor where a driving pinion is matched with the bevel gear, a supporting cover is installed in the upper part of the bevel gear, and a height controlling apparatus for controlling the height of rotor on the central parts of the rotor and the supporting cover wherein the height controlling apparatus includes: a hollow tube penetrated into the central part of the rotor and the supporting cover; a first height controlling rod installed in a hollow part of the hollow tube; a controlling nut installed in the hollow part of the hollow tube, which relatively moves with use of screws with respect to the first height controlling rod; and a second height controlling rod integrated into the lower end of the controlling nut. The hollow tube is relatively moved by the screw movement of the first height controlling rod and the controlling nut, and the upper outer circumference of the hollow tube is connected to the upper inner circumference of the supporting cover, thereby mutually connecting movement of the hollow tube upward and downward and controlling the height of the rotor. |
