An apparatus for measuring a steel height in a tap hole of an electric furnace is disclosed. To achieve this, the apparatus for measuring a steel height in a tap hole of an electric furnace includes: a lance to inject purging gas to a slag surface; and a steel height measurement part installed above the lance to emit electromagnetic waves to the surface of the steel around the tap hole from which molten steel is discharged in order to measure the height of the steel.
