The present invention relates to a system for monitoring cable installation which monitors installation state of a cable by mounting a movable camera during an installation process in a ship, and an installation method thereof. The system can prevent twisting of a cable during the installation process of the cable, by preparing a configuration including: a movable module which is mounted on a tray as being able to move; a camera mounted on the movable module; a wireless relay which relays an image photographed by the camera; and a control module which judges the installation state of the cable in the image information inputted through the wireless relay.
