The present invention relates to a system and method for detecting drowsy driving. The system for detecting drowsy driving comprises: a driving drowsy detecting module detecting drowsy driving based on information on vehicle driving obtained from a sensor mounted in the vehicle and information on traffic lane obtained from a camera; a guide module for route and drive motion which guides a preset drive motion on a driving route of the vehicle when the drowsy driving detecting module determines drowsy driving; and a driver feedback analyzing module which determines whether drive motion is performed or not by confirming response time of a driver for the drive motion and, when the drive motion is not performed more than the predetermined number of times, generating warning information by determining the driver drives the vehicle while drowsy.
