<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire, which is improved in various performances such as fuel economy, processability, thermal aging resistance, wear resistance, wet grip performance, on-snow/ice performance and steering stability in a well balanced manner, and a pneumatic tire manufactured by using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tire comprises: a modified natural rubber that is highly purified and adjusted to have a pH of 2 to 7; silica (A) having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 110 m/g or less; and silica (B) having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 180 m/g or more. In the composition, contents of the silica (A) and the silica (B) satisfy an expression of (content of silica (A))×0.2≤(content of silica (B))≤(content of silica (A))×6.5.</p> |
