PLATY CERAMIC STACKING ORGANIC-INORGANIC COMPOSITE COATING METHOD USING ELECTROPHORETIC DEPOSITION AND SOL-GEL

The present invention relates to a platy ceramic stacking organic-inorganic composite coating method wherein a compact membrane with high-strength and high-ductility can be formed successfully only via a low-temperature plasticizing process without a sintering process as coating by electrophoretic deposition is conducted smoothly despite the use of platy ceramic particles with a large particle size as a coating material. The present invention is a platy ceramic organic-inorganic composite coating method for stacking platy ceramic particles to be oriented, comprising the steps of: providing slurry by mixing platy ceramic particles as a coating material with a dispersion medium; immersing a base material to be coated in the slurry; and coating the base material with the ceramic particles while moving the ceramic particles by electrophoretic deposition by inputting an electrode into the slurry and exerting an electric field. In the slurry providing step, a sol-gel binder is mixed with the dispersion medium as an electrophoretic binder.
