<p>Disclosed are a set-top box and a method for operating the same. Herein, a set-top box is connected to a display device to display an image corresponding to a broadcasting stream, and receives the broadcasting stream to output the same to the display device. The set-top box comprises: a first input unit which receives a first broadcasting selection signal from a user; a second input unit which receives a second broadcasting signal from a user; an output terminal 1 which is connected to a first display device being operated by a user′s input signal from the first input unit and outputs a first broadcasting stream corresponding to the first broadcasting selection signal; an output terminal 2 which is connected to a second display device being operated by a user′s input signal from the second input unit and outputs a second broadcasting stream corresponding to the second broadcasting selection signal; and a signal selection unit which classifies the received broadcasting stream into the first and second broadcasting streams, and outputs the first and second broadcasting streams, respectively, to the output terminal 1 and the output terminal 2.</p> |
