PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast furnace charging material detecting device capable of identifying a kind of the charging material, and detecting a state of each of the charging material.SOLUTION: Reflected light of a near-infrared region from a charging material is dispersed to acquire spectrum, and a kind of the charging material is discriminated based on the acquired spectrum. After the kind of the charging material is discriminated, an existing area of the charging material of the discriminated kind is obtained based on, for example, an image, and fineness of the charging material of the discriminated kind is detected. After discrimination of the kind of the charging material, a moisture content of the charging material of the discriminated kind is detected based on the spectrum of the charging material of the discriminated kind. In addition, the moisture content of the charging material obtained from the spectrum and a powder rate of the charging material are in a unique relationship, so that the powder rate of the charging material of the discriminated kind is detected based on the moisture content. |
