PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display controller capable of reliably making a user recognize information relevant to a symbol according to a pointing position.SOLUTION: There is provided a display controller that includes: a display control section that controls a display unit to display so as to allow a user visibly recognize plural symbols; a position acquisition section that acquires a piece of information indicating a pointing position for identifying one or plural symbols from the plural symbols. The display control section controls the display unit to display a predetermined object which indicates a group to which the plural symbols are included according to the pointing position.
