PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that, even in a case where a plurality of terminals are connected, a reduction in terminal insertion load and improvement in workability can simultaneously be achieved by a relatively simple structure.SOLUTION: A connector comprises: a plurality of connector terminals 2 having elastically deformable contact parts 21 that come into contact with apparatus terminals 9 of a connection-mate side apparatus 10; a housing 3 to which the plurality of connector terminals are fitted; a rotation member 5 rotatable with respect to the housing by external operation; and a movable member 6 that moves the housing to the connection-mate side apparatus via a motion direction converting mechanism S for converting the rotary motion of the rotation member to a linear motion. As a motion direction converting mechanism, at least one projection 63 is formed on at least either the housing or the movable member and at least one straight groove 321 that engages the projection is formed in the other at an angle to the moving direction of the housing. |
