PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus having an adsorber capable of holding an adsorption state without applying electric charges and securely adsorbing at the early stage of adsorption by any user.SOLUTION: An apparatus having an adsorber includes an adsorber composed of an adsorption structure for adsorbing an object by dispersion force and adsorption auxiliary means for adsorbing an object by induction force by applying electric charges to the adsorption structure, and control means. The control means is configured to control operation of the adsorption auxiliary means such that when the object is adsorbed by induction force by applying electric charges to the adsorption structure, application of electric charges is stopped and the object is adsorbed by dispersion force.
