The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for managing a screen displayed at a receiving call. The present invention includes: a call event detecting unit which detects call receiving events of a communication terminal; a screen maintaining processing unit which determines whether the currently displayed screen should be maintained or not and which maintains the currently displayed screen on top of the screen when a call receiving event occurs; a call receiving interface processing unit which transmits a screen maintaining process request signal to the screen maintaining processing unit when the call event detecting unit receives the event detecting signals and which configures a call receiving interface for displaying on the display unit of the communication terminal and displaying call receiving interface on the screen maintained by the screen maintaining processing unit when a screen maintaining determining signal is received from the screen maintaining processing unit; and a call control unit which performs call control according to user′s selection input through a call receiving menu displayed in the call receiving interface.
