PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device that enables an amount of output power to be supplied to an exciting coil to be maintained at a fixed value even if inductance changes in association with variations or temperature rise in each exciting coil, and to provide a frequency regulator to be applied to the image-forming device.SOLUTION: A frequency regulator is applied to an image-forming device 1 that heats a heating roller 41 by changing high-frequency AC current applied to an exciting coil 43 by a power supply part 46 according to temperature, on the basis of correspondence information between temperature of the exciting coil 43 and a frequency FL1 of a control signal. The frequency regulator comprises: a constant power supply part 63 that changes the frequency FL1 of the control signal so as to maintain output power to the exciting coil 43 at a predetermined set value; a frequency acquisition part 64 that acquires the temperature of the exciting coil 43 and the frequency FL1 of the control signal; and a change part 66 that updates the correspondence information on the basis of the acquired temperature of the exciting coil 43 and frequency FL1 of the control signal. |
