<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoder which allows for coding of a video where a logo or the like is superposed on a part of a screen, without performing the coding again, and performs coding efficiently.SOLUTION: Arithmetic coding means for coding a first coded video 201 inputted, and a second coded video 204 smaller than the first coded video holds the arithmetic coding internal parameters of the first coded video immediately before superposing the second coded video, when performing arithmetic coding of the first coded video, and performs arithmetic coding by using the parameters thus held when performing arithmetic coding of the second coded video.</p> |
