<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position indicator which is given an extended stroke life by reducing a load on contact portions, and to provide an assembling method for the same.SOLUTION: When a pen tip is penned down on a writing surface, a writing load pushes a substrate 40 fixed to a main frame 20 down relative to a refill holder 30. Since elastic force of a first spring 50 is smaller than that of a second spring 60, the first spring 50 gets compressed between a front-end surface 41 of the substrate 40 and a rear-end surface 76 of a metallic spring holder 70 before the second spring 60 is compressed. When the front-end surface 41 touches the rear-end surface 76, contact portions 45, 46 conduct current via the spring holder 70. This turns on an electronic circuit on the substrate 40. Then, the writing load acts on the second spring 60, compressing the second spring 60. At this point, only reaction force of the second spring 60 is acting on the contact portions 45, 46, which results in a reduced load on the contact portions 45, 46.</p> |
