<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably detect a certain magnitude of fire based on an observation image of smoke and not based on a distance.SOLUTION: A measurement part 28 measures the number of speed pixels showing the number of pixels indicating a thickness of a smoke plume by determining an observation image in which the smoke plume from the observation image of a smoke is photographed by a monitoring camera 10. A model fire setting part 30 sets the thickness and a raising speed of the smoke plume generated by a model fire of a certain scale as a thickness reference and a reference raising speed. A fire determination part 32 determines fire and output an alarm based on the number of speed pixels showing the number of pixels indicating the thickness and the smoke raising speed of the measured smoke plume and the relationship between the reference thickness and the reference raising speed of the smoke plume in the model fire.</p> |
