<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper for a propeller shaft capable of realizing characteristics of two stages, that shock can be relieved by lowering a spring constant when torque is less than a predetermined value, and torque transmission force can be secured to increase the spring constant when the torque is the prescribed value or more.SOLUTION: A damper for a propeller shaft including a sleeve 10 mounted on one of a torque input side and a torque output side, and a first elastic projection 21 and a second elastic projection 22 composed of a rubber elastic material and disposed integrally with an outer periphery of the sleeve. The first elastic projection 21 and the second elastic projection 22 can be circumferentially kept into contact with a torque transmission rib 2 disposed on the other of the torque input side and the torque output side, and the first elastic projection 21 is brought into contact with the torque transmission rib 2 ahead of the second elastic projection 22 in a torque increasing process.</p> |
