<p>A power transmission device and a power control device of a washing machine are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided can be a power transmission device of a washing machine comprising: a driving unit capable of rotating bidirectionally; a gear mechanism including an input axis connected to the driving unit to receive power, a deceleration assembly gearing with the input axis to reduce a rotating speed using a predetermined gear ratio, a washing axis connected to the deceleration assembly to rotate in the gear ratio, and a dewatering assembly selectively connected to the driving unit when in a dewatering mode and rotating independently from the washing axis; a coupling unit for selectively transmitting the power of the driving unit to the dewatering assembly when in the dewatering mode; and a brake unit capable of selectively and forcibly stopping the dewatering assembly in the dewatering mode.</p> |
