PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To link information on the number of stock holdings that is managed in a position management system with information on the number of borrowed stocks that is managed in a lending system, thereby appropriately checking a balance of the number of stock holdings and the number of borrowed stocks.SOLUTION: A stock borrowing and lending balance check system checks a balance of the number of shares of each stock held by a company and the number of shares of each stock the company borrows from outside. The stock borrowing and lending balance check system includes: a stock holding calculation part that acquires information on the number of shares of each stock holding from a position management system and performs calculation; a borrowed stock calculation part that acquires information on the number of shares of each borrowed stock from a lending system and performs calculation; and a balance check part. The balance check part compares, for each stock, the information on the number of shares of the stock holdings and the information on the number of shares of borrowed stock; and for a stock at selling position in which the number of shares of stock holding is a negative value, if an absolute value of the negative value is greater than the number of shares of the borrowed stock, then the balance check part notifies that an additional borrowed stock is necessary. |
