PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device capable of outputting light by exciting a phosphor by a light emitting element, the light having an emission spectrum high in all color rendering indexes.SOLUTION: A light emitting device includes: first and second blue light emitting elements having peak wavelengths different with each other, each peak wavelength being a wavelength of a peak value of an emission spectrum in a wavelength range of 405 nm or more and 460 nm or less; and a phosphor layer including a green phosphor which is excited by emission light of the first and second blue light emitting elements and emits green light of an emission spectrum having a first wavelength showing a first strength and a second wavelength showing a second strength lower than the first strength, and a red phosphor which has an absorption spectrum showing an absorption at the second wavelength less than that at the first wavelength with respect to the green light and is excited by emission light of the first and second blue light emitting elements to emit red light. |
