PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article inspection device easy for a data output operation capable of automatically outputting output request data required by a user just by accessibly connecting information storage medium.SOLUTION: An article inspection device includes: an information accumulation part 24 for accumulating information including inspection results; and a control part 23 for outputting a part of the accumulated information to external information storage medium 51 as output data. The control part 23 includes: an identification information detection part 43 for detecting identification information capable of identifying a part of accumulated information inside the information accumulation part 24 from storage information in the information storage medium 51 when the external information storage medium 51 is accessibly connected; an information extraction part 44 for extracting a part of accumulated information inside the information storage part 24 on the basis of detection information when the identification information is detected; and an output data preparation part 45 for preparing extracted information as output data in an output format in which the extracted information can be written in the information storage medium 51.
