<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder type terminal that can be manufactured with ease and inexpensively by bending processing of a metal plate, and that is less likely to be deformed, and whose dimension can be controlled with ease.SOLUTION: A cylinder type terminal comprises: a substantially cylindrical base; and a plurality of elastic contact pieces extending from the base and elastically contacted with an outer peripheral surface of a round bar-like partner side terminal. The cylinder type terminal is formed by bending processing of a conductive metal plate. The base comprises: a complete round part whose cross section is a substantially complete round shape by making both end surfaces of a first end part that is one end side of the metal plate and a second end part that is the other end side face each other; and an opening prevention part preventing opening of the first end part and the second end part of the metal plate in a radial direction and a circumferential direction of the base. The plurality of elastic contact pieces extend from the complete round part.</p> |
