The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a high-quality welding tip and to a cold forming mold device therefor. The mold device comprises: a supporting mold having an upper space with an opened upper part, a lower space with an opened lower part and a forming part placed between the upper and lower spaces; a pressurizing holder installed above the supporting mold; a spring installed inside the pressurizing holder; a supporter placed at the lower end part of the spring; a stopper fixed to the supporter; an inner diameter pin having an upper end part supported by the supporter and inserted into the penetration path of an object being molded; and a pressurizing punch fixed to the pressurizing holder and pressurizing the object being molded, which is accommodated in the upper space, and lowering the object being molded into the lower space by being indented into the upper space when the pressurizing holder continues to be lowered as the stopper has reached the supporting mold. The inner diameter dimension of the path of a final product is uniform and a minute inner diameter can be processed in any way as a base material is manufactured by a forward extrusion method according to a method for manufacturing a high-quality welding tip and a cold forming mold device therefor of the present invention as described above. Particularly, the present invention is epoch-making in terms of reducing costs when manufacturing a welding tip using a high-priced material owing to excellent abrasion resistance, which is caused by hardness enhanced by work hardening, long lifetime and little material loss.
