PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a non-contact power transmission system to detect a foreign object's entry while achieving responsiveness and stability.SOLUTION: A power transmission device 220 comprises: a power transmission coil 223 which is wound around a winding center line O1 and transmits power to a power reception coil 123 in a non-contact manner; a transmission antenna 310 for radiating an electromagnetic wave; and a reception antenna (first and second reception antennas 320, 330) for receiving the electromagnetic wave radiated from the transmission antenna 310. At least one of the transmission antenna 310 and the reception antenna (first and second reception antennas 320, 330) is a planar antenna including a first plane part S1 and second plane part S2 which face each other in the thickness direction. The planar antenna (such as the transmission antenna 310) is arranged so that the first plane part S1 and second plane part S2 extend along the winding center line O1. |
