PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of excellent non-contact communication with an external device on the basis of non-contact power supply from the external device and restraining the amount of power supply even while it is stopping normal operation.SOLUTION: A communication device 1 comprises: a communication control unit 21 for controlling non-contact communication with an external device 100; a main control unit 11 for controlling execution of various functions; and communication nodes 4, 5. These three kinds of components are able to operate by first power supply voltage Vcc which is a main power supply, and are capable of data communication with each other. The communication device 1 comprises a power supply circuit 24 for generating second power supply voltage Vn based on power received from the external device 100, and the communication control unit 21 and the communication nodes 4, 5 are able to operate by the second power supply voltage Vn too. If the communication control unit 21 is performing data communication at a time of start of the main control unit 11, the main control unit 11 cuts off data communication between the main control unit 11 and another data communication object by a switch unit 10 provided on a communication line L. |
