PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball valve capable of preventing inadvertent operation of a handle with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A ball valve 1 includes a stopper 41 and a lock pin 51. The stopper 41 is held by a handle 6, and is provided movably between a lock position relatively close to a valve casing 2 and an unlock position apart from the valve casing 2. When the stopper 41 is in the lock position, the stopper 41 is engaged with a first fitting protrusion 17 or a second fitting protrusion, and thereby, operation of the handle 6 is inhibited. When the stopper 41 is in the unlock position, engagement between the stopper 41 and the first fitting protrusion 17 or the second fitting protrusion is released, and operation of the handle 6 is permitted. Further, the lock pin 51 is inserted into an insertion hole 34 formed in the handle 6, and thereby, movement of the stopper 41 from the lock position to the unlock position is regulated. |
