<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable air cleaner capable of properly controlling the air volume in response to a size of dust, in the air cleaner for controlling the air volume in response to the cleanliness of air grasped by using a detection value of a dust sensor for distinguishably detecting the size of the dust.SOLUTION: The air cleaner 10 comprises a fan, the dust sensor 60 for distinguishably detecting small dust and large dust, a determination part 52a, a storage part 51 of a determination result of the determination part and a fan control part 52e. The determination part determines a cleanliness degree of the air by using an output signal of the dust sensor. The fan control part controls a rotation speed of the fan based on the determination result stored in the storage part. The determination part respectively executes first determination processing of time preference when determining the cleanliness degree of the air on the large dust and second determination processing of accuracy preference when determining the cleanliness degree of the air on the large dust, as a determination of the cleanliness degree of the air.</p> |
