PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head of an engine in which an exhaust recirculation passage is provided, the cylinder head which uses a coolant in the cylinder head thereby efficiently cooling an EGR gas and prevents heat deterioration of a lubrication oil accumulating or flowing on an upper wall of the cylinder head.SOLUTION: A cylinder head 1 of an engine has an exhaust recirculation passage and includes: a cam chamber 22 which stores a cam of the engine; a head part EGR passage 23 through which a recycle gas of the exhaust recirculation passage passes; and a branch passage (a coolant passage) 19 provided between the head part EGR passage 23 and the cam chamber 22.
