<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser radar capable of scanning a laser beam over a wide range and a beam irradiation device mounted in the laser radar.SOLUTION: A laser radar comprises: a mirror actuator 1 for rotating a mirror 141; an emission unit 310 for inputting to the mirror 141, a plurality of laser beams from angles different in a rotation direction of the mirror 141; light receiving units 340, 350 for receiving the reflected light of the plurality of laser beams from a target area; and a DSP for detecting an object in the target area on the basis of output from the light receiving units 340, 350. Thus, since the plurality of laser beams are inputted to the mirror 141 from angles different in the rotation direction of the mirror 141, the target area can be scanned with the laser beams in a significantly wider range of angles than scanning angles corresponding to a rotated angle of the mirror 141.</p> |
