<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve air cleaning efficiency.SOLUTION: An air cleaning system includes: an air cleaning unit (2) which is operated at first operation strength and at second operation strength which is higher than that selectively; a contamination sensor (5) for detecting contaminants in the air; a human body sensor (6) for detecting a human body; a determination unit (35) for determining whether or not a person enters a room based on the detection result by the human body sensor (6); and an operation control unit (36) for, when a person is determined to have entered the room, changing the operation state of the air cleaning unit (2) from the first operation strength to the second operation strength, and operating the air cleaning unit (2) at the second operation strength for a certain period of time.</p> |
