PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road surface greening material configured to improve load resistance and plant viability as well as construction property, and to provide a road surface with plants formed by a plurality of road surface greening materials.SOLUTION: A road surface greening material 10 includes a block 1, and a flat plate 2 with the block 1 mounted thereon and larger in plane area than the block 1. Irregularities 2a are formed on a side face of the flat plate 2. The irregularities 2a of the flat plates 2 are engaged with each other when two road surface greening materials 10 are set adjacent to each other. A notch 2b is formed in a part of the irregularity 2a of the flat plate 2 so as to form a gap S in a part of the irregularities 2a engaged with each other. In a gap G formed between the blocks 1 when a plurality of road surface greening materials 10 are set adjacent to each other, a planting unit 3 is arranged. |
