PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milk-containing black tea beverage packed in a container, capable of retaining the flavor in long-term storage, with the occurrence of foreign odor in long-term storage prevented; and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: To a milk-containing black tea beverage, indigestible dextrin in an amount of 0.6 wt.% or more relative to the total amount of the beverage is added, so that a milk-containing black tea beverage packed in a container causing no occurrence of foreign odor such as milk rancid odor, acidity, and off-flavor in long-term storage can be manufactured. The manufacturing method thereof includes simple means of adding a specific amount of indigestible dextrin in manufacturing, so that the occurrence of the foreign odor can be effectively prevented. The milk-containing black tea beverage packed in a container which retains the flavor in long-term storage is thus provided. |
