PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckle with a built-in whistle in which no dust or the like sticks to the whistle, in which required sound can be generated stably for a long time, and in which the whistle can be hygienically maintained and the buckle as a whole can be miniaturized.SOLUTION: A buckle 1 with a built-in whistle includes, as arranged in the respective ends of a belt B, a female type buckle body 2 connected to one end of a belt B and a male type buckle body 20 connected to the other end of the belt B. The female type buckle body 2 has a recess 4 along the longitudinal direction (B) of the belt B while the male type buckle body 20 has, in the tip end side along the longitudinal direction (B) of the belt B, a projection 21 which can enter the recess 4 of the female type buckle body 2. Also, the projection 21 incorporates a whistle w composed of an air inlet port 24 that opens to the tip end face of the projection 21, a ventilation chamber 22 that communicates with the inlet port 24 and that is along the longitudinal direction of the belt B, and an air exhaust port 25 that is in communication with the ventilation chamber 22 and that opens on the surface of the projection 21.
