A method for managing a charging connector according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a step of performing a user authentication; a step of supplying charging power to a battery when a charging connector is connected to a charging socket of the battery according to the result of performing the user authentication; a step of stopping the supply of the charging power when an ending event for the charging action is detected; a step of detecting a setting state of the charging connector; and a step of ending the charging action when the detected setting state of the charging connector is a normal state. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method can prevent damage to the charging connector occurring according to poor setting of the charging connector in advance by informing a manager or a user of information about the setting state of the charging connector. The present invention also informs the user of the right directions of using the charger. |
