PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater in which changes in resistance of a lead is suppressed.SOLUTION: A heater 1 comprises: a ceramic body 2; a heat element 3 embedded in the ceramic body 2; and a lead 4. The lead 4 has: a first region 41 part of which is exposed from the front face, and which expands as being away from the front face; and a second region 42 which is adjacent to the first region 41 and expands as being away from the first region 41. On a cross section perpendicular to the front face and extends along the lead 4, when a first tangent line 410 on a boundary face between the first region 41 and the ceramic body 2 and a second tangent line 420 on a boundary face between the second region 42 and the ceramic body 2 are drawn, an inclination angle &thetas;of the second tangent line 420 with respect to the front face is greater than an inclination angle &thetas;of the first tangent line 410 with respect to the front face. Even if cracking occurs between the first region 41 and the ceramic body 2, it can be prevented from progressing inside the lead 4. |
