PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode for a lithium ion battery, less in segregation of a binding material.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a negative electrode for a lithium ion battery includes: a first step of coating, on a negative electrode collector, a first negative electrode mixture paste containing a first negative electrode active material that has been subjected to hydrophilic treatment; a second step of coating, on the first negative electrode mixture paste, a second negative electrode mixture paste containing a second negative electrode active material that has not been subjected to the hydrophilic treatment; and a third step of drying the first negative electrode mixture paste and the second negative electrode mixture paste. |
