<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively protect a front side part of a writing core which projects from a front end of a barrel.SOLUTION: A writing instrument including a barrel 10, a holder 20 which is inserted into a front side opening 11a of the barrel 10 and projects forwards from a front end of the barrel 10, and a writing core 30 which is inserted into the holder 20 while contacting an inner peripheral surface of the holder 20, and is so supported on the barrel 10 as to project forwards from the front end of the holder 20, in which between the barrel 10 and the holder 20, motion direction conversion means, which propels the holder 20 forwards relatively to the barrel and the writing core by a force in a radially outer direction of the barrel which is given onto the holder 20.</p> |
