PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leak detector disconnection diagnosis technique capable of lessening the work burden on an operator carrying out leak detector disconnection diagnostic work.SOLUTION: A disconnection diagnosis system 10 comprises: a leak detector 14 including two electrodes 12 (12a and 12b) disposed to be separated from each other across a certain space; a leak detection signal input unit 15 that is connected to the electrodes 12 and to which a leak detection signal s is input when the electrodes 12 are made conductive; an alarming unit 16 issuing an alarm indicating that leakage of liquid metal occurs if the leak detection signal s is input; an alarm stop unit 17 outputting an alarm stop signal for stopping the alarm when a mode is switched to a disconnection diagnosis mode for diagnosing disconnection of the leak detector 14; a disconnection diagnosis signal output unit 18 outputting a disconnection diagnosis signal u for closing a contact 19 at which the electrodes 12 are made conductive when the alarm stop signal t is output; and a disconnection diagnosis unit 20 diagnosing whether disconnection occurs by whether the leak detection signal s is input after output of the disconnection diagnosis signal u.
