摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method which allows scratch resistance and discharge properties to be made excellent when printing is performed on a recording medium having low water absorptivity, and to provide a water-insoluble polymer particle to be incorporated in an inkjet recording ink.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording method comprises a step of making a record on the recording medium having low water absorptivity by using a water-based ink for inkjet recording. The water-based ink contains a pigment, a water-insoluble polymer particle B, an organic solvent C, and water. The water-insoluble polymer particle B has 1.0-6.0 mass% of a (meth)acrylic acid (b-1)-derived constituent unit and a (meth)acrylic acid ester (b-2)-derived constituent unit in the whole constituent unit of the water-insoluble polymer particle B. The glass transition temperature of the water-insoluble polymer particle B is 10-90°C. The content of the water-insoluble polymer particle B in the water-based ink is 1.0-4.0 mass%. The organic solvent C contains one or more organic solvents each having 90°C or higher boiling point. A weighted-average value of the boiling point of the organic solvent C is 250°C or lower, which value is obtained while weighting the boiling point of each of the organic solvents with the content (mass%) thereof.
