PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of surely discriminating a detected indication object and an object except the indiction object.SOLUTION: An image display device 100 includes a light detection part 30 detecting light reflected by an indication object 61 and a non-indication object 63 in the vicinity of a projection image and a coordinate detection part 40 acquiring, on the basis of detection intensity detected by the light detection part 30, a detection image 70 including a first area 71 where intensity larger than a first threshold is detected and a second area 72 where the intensity smaller than the first threshold and larger than a second threshold is detected. The coordinate detection part 40 is configured so as to perform control for discriminating, on the basis of the overlapping state of the first area 71 and the second area 72 in the detection image 70, whether the indication object 61 or the non-indication object 63 is detected by the light detection part 30. |
