PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer capable of improving dehumidification efficiency by effectively utilizing dew condensation water generated by dehumidification in an evaporator of a heat pump unit.SOLUTION: The dryer includes: a housing tub (3) for housing an object to be dried; circulation air passages (23, 30, 24, 26) for circulating air in the housing tub (3); a heat pump unit (13) having an evaporator (10) arranged in the circulation air passages (23, 30, 24, 26) and dehumidifying the air circulating in the circulation air passages (23, 30, 24, 26), and a condenser (8) arranged on a downstream side of the evaporator (10) in the circulation air passages (23, 30, 24, 26) and heating the air dehumidified by the evaporator (10); a water storage tank (31) for storing dew condensation water generated in the evaporator (10); and a dew condensation water utilization unit (40) for dehumidifying the air circulating in the circulation air passages (23, 30, 24, 26) by utilizing the dew condensation water supplied from the water storage tank (31). |
