PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more certainly insert a terminal into a cavity of a connector.SOLUTION: A terminal insertion device inserts a terminal 92 at an end of an electric wire 9 with the terminal into a cavity 81 of a connector 8. An electric wire end holding part for insertion is advanced toward the cavity 81 so as to insert a tip part of the terminal 92 at the end of the electric wire 9 with the terminal held by an electric wire end holding part (fourth holding part 51) into the cavity 81 of the connector 8, whether or not the tip part of the terminal 92 enters the cavity 81 is determined, when it is determined that the tip part of the terminal 92 does not enter the cavity 81, the electric wire end holding part for insertion is advanced toward the cavity 81 again after retracting the electric wire end holding part for insertion from the cavity 81. |
