PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid various problems in association with unintentional opening of a cover.SOLUTION: A printer 1 comprises: a housing 2 provided with a recording head 22 serving as recording means performing recording on a sheet P therein; a discharge port cover 6 opening and closing a sheet discharge port 10 formed on the housing 2; a hook section 7a serving as lock means locking the discharge port cover 6 with respect to the housing 2; and an engaging section 8 applied with a part of external force F in a closing direction of the discharge port cover 6 when the external force F is applied to the discharge port cover 6 in a direction of release of a lock by the hook section 7a. On this account, unintentional opening of the discharge port cover 6 can be prevented. |
