摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to relaxation of impact which a shoulder part of a passenger receives at the time of side collision.SOLUTION: At a B pillar garnish 10, a shoulder guide surface 34 is provided at a region 32U which is at the same height level as an upper part of a seat back 20 in a pillar garnish lower 32. The shoulder guide surface 34 is tilted toward the vehicle front side and outside in car width direction so that, at the height level of the shoulder guide surface 34 installed, the dimension in car width direction on a front end side of the pillar garnish lower 32 is smaller than the dimension in car width direction on a rear end side. Thus, when the shoulder guide surface 34 interferes with a shoulder part S of a passenger P from the outside in car width direction under the impact of side collision, the shoulder part S receives a component force toward a vehicle front side from the shoulder guide surface 34, so that the shoulder part S is made to slide to the vehicle front side of the pillar garnish lower 32, for escape.</p>
