PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic apparatus capable of acquiring object information with the influence of a sound speed difference suppressed in the case that a member having a sound speed different from a sound speed in the object is arranged between the object and an acoustic wave receiver.SOLUTION: The photoacoustic apparatus includes an acoustic wave receiver 17 for receiving a photoacoustic wave generated by emitting light to an object and outputting a time series of reception signals, and a processing part 20 for acquiring object information by performing reconstruction processing using a specific sound speed of the time series of reception signals. The processing part converts a reception time of the time series of reception signals into a reception time standardized with the specific sound speed as a reference in the reconstruction processing. |
