摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module, an electronic device, and a method for driving the optical module which are capable of reducing a measurement time.SOLUTION: A spectroscopic measurement device 1 comprises: a wavelength variable interference filter 5 for emitting light of a prescribed wavelength and capable of changing the wavelength of the emitted light; an image-capturing element 11 of rolling shutter type having a pixel in which an electric charge is accumulated by exposure, and executing a light reception process in which the electric charge is accumulated in a light reception period and a detection signal corresponding to the electric charge is outputted in a non-light reception period following the light reception period, the process being executed while being delayed for each pixel block composed of a plurality of pixels by a prescribed time, and thereby configuring one frame; and spectroscopy control means (a filter drive unit 21, a longest drive time acquisition unit 23, and a timing acquisition unit 24) for controlling wavelength change drive of the light emitted by the wavelength variable interference filter 5. The spectroscopy control means causes the wavelength change drive to start at a time when the light reception period of a last pixel block, in one frame, for which the light reception process is last executed terminates.
